Written for the University of Nebraska Jazz Ensemble I, Elimination is a lyrical latin chart for advanced jazz ensembles.  Alto sax and flugelhorn both solo over more funky backbeats that are seamlessly woven into the latin feel.  The three non-soloing flugelhorn parts all go to trumpet towards the end of the chart, and Alto 2 plays the majority of the chart on flute before switching to saxophone at the end.
